At work and I can’t work on my project. Rita is copying like a thousand pages and it is taking forever. I went online to check on my courses and at least one of them is screwy and I have to take care of it tonight. The other I had a test due on but the system was down last night.

Okay printer free. Tammy’s off so I want to finish this post really quick.

Chickie and I went furniture shopping and hanging out this Sunday. I found a pair of couches I like and a small table I’m in love with. I still have to float the idea and prices past Jen. I have stuff on hold now so I can keep the good prices. Evidently you can talk people down price wise as well I’ve no real clue as I’ve never purchased furniture before. I need to question mi Madre about it. Even if we don’t go with the couches I’m probably getting the small table. It is a gorgeous cherry wood, perfect size and shape. I wanted to get extra chairs with it but they are a touch pricey on their own. Anyhow regardless I need to talk to Jen about it. She should probably go looking online while they have a sale going and we can get a better package deal if she does. I know she needs some bedroom furniture of her own. The house itself only needs a dining table and couch really. Everything else is extra. I want some stools for the counter area but a lot of this has to wait until we are moved in and I can get a better feel for size and color. I went ahead and drew up plans for how I want my bed room to look. I just need to go find the proper fabrics and start sewing really. It was a fun Sunday and I was glad to get the hell out of the house.

Anyhow I’ve actual work to do so I shall get to it. I'm feeling alot better today. I still have a little cold but the Dayquil is killing the symtoms nicely.

Stuff

So had a fairly good day at work. I'm running between the two extremes of being really annoyed about something and being really happy about how everything else is going. I'm not dealing with the thing which is aggrivating me until next week sometime wherein I will figure out what exactly I will be doing about it.

Had a nice long talk with casteylan about things we needed to discuss and general chit chat that I enjoy getting into. *snugs* to Cas! As well as Ted-sama, Kae, Solo, and Mongo. LOL Yay ^_^

The big move it this weekend. I'm trying to handle all the last minute details of which there are many and things are going at a fast yet halting pace.

Found out Derek isn't coming home to the states until next August which just sucks. I still need to finish getting his package together. And I didn't send my moms b-day gift out because I'm a twit and got sick. I have to call her tomorrow and say Happy Birthday and explain.

Started my classes today. I.E. I actually went online and did the work today. LOL I was a little behind but not much. I can't wait to actually be able to dig my stupid books out. Jebus it is annoying being so inbetween things.

Emailed Ablest today adn they say they've always been paying me at my current rate. Which is damned confusing as I know that isn't what they hired me at. I unfortunatly think I might have otssed the very first stuff I got from them back when I cleaned my car out but I'm not sure. Either way I can't find the stuff until next week after i've emptyed the car out and give it a solid look. Annoying either way. Or maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so because i remember being terribly excited about my new pay rate.

Anyhow I've been staring at this computer for far too long. I do believe I am going to go elsewhere for a little while.

California Gov. Schwarzenegger's office is accepting calls from anywhere regarding their marriage equality bill. It passed both houses of their legislature, but needs the Governor's approval. It's all automated, so you don't have to talk to anyone. Most of us now have free long-distance through cell phones or landlines, so do it every chance you get. If enough support is shown, full marriage rights may become a reality for millons of Americans. It's in our hands.

Follow these directions:
1. Call the Governor: 1-916-445-2841 (This number is listed at www.governor.ca.gov)
2. Push: 2 (voice your opinion on legislation)
3. Push: 1 (gender-neutral marriage bill - Senate Bill 849)
4. And push: 1 to support marriage equality
5. Hang up, and give yourself a hug for getting up offa that thing, and fighting for human rights.
